Web Developer BlackBirds, an ICT Consultancy Company based in Turin, in the north of Italy with direct recruiting offices in Mumbay, London (UK) and San Francisco (US) is looking for Web Developers for a site of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijng, that will execute the most ambitious broadband video plan around any event to date, including the first-ever broad live streaming coverage of the Olympics in the U.S. for a prestigious U.S. client. The positions are in Turin in Italy from November 2007 until August 2008. They are as follows: Senior Developer Web application (Front-end) Profile: We are looking for an experienced web developer (> 4 years), specialized in web programming client-side. His/Her role will be part of a small team of developers, and will include programming templates from design mock-ups. Required Skills: strong XHTML, CSS2, XSLT and Javascript programmer skills, usability and accessibility knowledge, fluent verbal and written English. We need someone with experience in designing web layouts with emerging standards as opposed to old-way table based design. Tech leader (Senior Developer, Web, DB, System) Profile: We are looking for a very experienced application developer (> 5 years), specialized in web applications. His/Her role will be to cooperate with the Project Leader and the Business Analyst and guide the technical development choices with a small team of developers, understanding the technical and functional complexity of the project. Required Skills: Strong and proven technical knowledge, Strong programmer skills, OOP background, web applications expertise, strong .NET expertise (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#), database skills, fluent verbal and written English, MS certification a must. Solid understanding of web architectures and frameworks. Good knowledge in User interface matters. Experience in web optimization techniques. Senior Developer Web application (Back End) Profile: We are looking for a experienced application developer (> 4 years), specialized in web applications. His/Her role will be part of a small team of developers, understanding the technical and functional complexity of the project. Required Skills: strong programmer skills, OOP background, web applications expertise, ASP.NET expertise (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#), fluent verbal and written English, MS certification preferred.
